Hello, my name is James. I started last thanksgiving [2009] at ITT Tech, earning a 2 year [online] degree for Computer Forensics. In a few months I decided to transfer from a 2 year education to a 4 year Bachelors degree at ITT Tech [online] for Cyber Security, Criminal Justice. I maintain my GPA of 3.9, studying, working hard, exercising, and eating properly for the career I want to go in to. The career itself is Criminal Justice, of course. I'm really interested in either the FBI, DHS, or even local Law Enforcement. What I want to know is this... I hear that ITT Tech is only a 2 year school. If so, then why am I able to earn my Bachelors [4 Year] in Criminal Justice? I hear that it's Nationally Accredited, instead of Regionally Accredited... Will the accreditation status of the school interfere with my job pursuit? Will my Bachelors be enough in order to obtain a job in my desired career choice? There is a career program with ITT Tech in Indiana [Elkhart is where I'm staying] that helps find the job I'm looking for, even helping me with seeking a job in the FBI. Is this just a fairy tale? I see hundreds of negative comments about this institution, but I also see hundreds of positive comments about this institution. The question here would be simple, who do I believe, and do I give up hope in seeking my education here? Elkhart Indiana is a very low percentile when speaking of job rates. ITT Tech feels like my last shot at improving my life, especially in this location. Lastly, given the knowledge that I will do my best at this school, keep my GPA where it is, try my hardest at finding a job in Law Enforcement using the Degree I KNOW I will earn, what are your personal opinions on my success in finding a job in Criminal Justice?...
